At Homes by New Era, we provide a comprehensive homeowner’s manual for your reference, covering everything from warranty details to maintenance guidelines. Should any questions arise, this resource ensures you have the answers you need—all in one place.

Landscaping

“Unsure where to begin? Landscaping can be complicated; each community has its own set of guidelines to follow. Below, you’ll find your community-specific landscaping requirements to ensure your design meets all necessary standards.”

Landscaping Deposit

To receive your landscaping deposit refund, the following steps must be completed:

Rough Grade

This is completed by Homes by New Era. If your home was purchased during the off-season, rough grading will be scheduled for the following spring.

Final Grade

Once the rough grade is complete, you may proceed with final grading.

Required Documents

After your final grading is finished, you’ll need to obtain:

  • A final grading certificate from the city
  • A certificate of As-Built Grade from your landscaper

Submit for Review

Email both documents to: service@homesbynewera.ca

Once received, our team will coordinate an on-site inspection with the developer. Upon approval, your landscaping deposit will be refunded. Typically, the approval takes up to 4 to 6 weeks upon submission.

Warranty

At Homes by New Era, we recognize that even the finest homes may occasionally require attention. Should you encounter any concerns with your new home, we’re here to help.

Please submit your service request via email to service@homesbynewera.ca, with the following information:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • Complete home address
  • A clear description of the issue
  • Supporting photographs

Our service team will acknowledge your request within one to two business days and schedule an inspection appointment to assess the concern in person.
